Short Biography

Eugenie was born April 15th, 1966 in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Since her childhood she spent time in front of the sewing machine. The passion to make her own creations and many of the traditional techniques were transferred to her by her mother.
Her passion is to design special hats one can almost refer to as objects. The challenge for her is to find the boundary and the balance between design and functionality, the ability to make the creations wearable. By the repeating rhythmic movements of my graphical designs, almost all of the creations have a dynamic effect. This effect is even more strengthened by a careful choice of materials and colours.
Eugenie is wearing Muad-dib in this picture, her personal favorite creation, inspired by her mother's measuring ribbon.
